We are looking for a Accounting Manager to join us and help oversee the accounting division functions.  We are looking for someone with a fun and friendly personality, love for tech, and experience in accounting, strategy, and reporting.

Job Description 

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes

  • Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements

  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and regulatory compliance to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested

  • Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions

  • Supervise and/or manage timely tax return preparation, filing, and payments

  • Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end

  • Perform other administrative and management tasks as required by the Board of Directors and senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • CPA or MBA preferred

  • At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience

  • At least 1 year experience in a supervisory role

  • Advanced MS Excel skills and experience working with financial systems

  • Entrepreneurial spirit 

  • Can work independently with minimal supervision 

  • Can speak and write English fluently
